Join renowned naturalist Robin W. Doughty for an illuminating talk on the Texas Hill Country as a vital crossroads for birdlife. The Hill Country’s central location and rugged landscape make it a meeting place for birds flying in from all directions. Robin will talk about how species, many unusual, that have entered and spread across the area.
During the breeding and migration seasons, enthusiasts may encounter warblers, flycatchers and tanagers in river valleys, hawks and falcons in canyons and vireos and sparrows on the plateaus of this unique upland.
Robin will identify several places important to birders, including State Parks and Natural Areas and many not far from Austin.
Your ticket includes a curated selection of Stone House wines and food pairings.
